[CO]Reflections on the Halloween Quest from Phoenix Server

After the mind-numbingly awesome DemonBox Dealer and the introduction of an NPC selling rare steeds I am finding it hard to feel as rewarded doing regular quests. I've had a taste of winning CPs and huge experience rewards- so going back to winning bombs and house permits doesn't feel too rewarding. I was especially horrified to right click my Meteor Box only to receive one meteor instead of the usual five from a similar box.

I decided to broadcast and ask my server what they thought of the quests. Of course, I got a wide variety of responses ranging from:

KingOfTrojs: It is really good! =D
LadyMerchant: It sucks... the maze and the pumpkin king... grrr.
Varying opinions are to be expected with any quest- that is part of what keeps the game fun. However, most people thought the rewards weren't worth the effort. I've often found that higher level, "wealthier" people feel less motivated to participate in quests- unless it is the DemonBox Dealer- a man which was visited often by me and my high level comrades ;).
I Have Pumpkins!: This was a good quest in the sense that collecting small pumpkins is pretty easy for most people and at one meteor per two pumpkins it's like free, easy meteors and experience.
House Labyrinth: I found the House Labyrinth Quest to be simple and somewhat rewarding for the minimal effort (although it would have been fun to actually fight 'Granny' in her mortal form.) A meteor for a few easy clicks is a decent prize.

Kill the Pumpkin King: The "Kill the Pumpkin King" Quest was very frustrating. It is too annoying to stand and wait for so long while other people steal your kills. I was there for an hour and the same person came in and killed it twice in a row and I was much stronger. The Quest would have been improved if there was more spawn and therefore less people per Pumpkin King. Why oh why were the blessed garments only Phoenix? Bless some Dark Wizards and Good Lucks.
Halloween Boxes: I only spent a small bit of time in Desert City hunting these boxes. I got a few EvilEnchantress Boxes. The rewards were okay- 150,000 silver would be a lot for a less experienced character but did not feel worth the hunt to me.
Cheat the Monsters: This quest seemed a little odd. It was frustrating to have to be transformed into a non-hopping monster to find them all. Easy enough though.
Maze Adventure: Sorry, couldn't be bothered with Timed Mazes. Haha.
So, what did you think of the Halloween Quests?
