Maybe you're a veteran or a new player. The question still remains, what class to choose still presents itself. There are so many classes and characters. Which one suites you best? Before you make the decision, there are some simple questions you can ask yourself so you can get the most of your conquer experience.

Let's examine the first question. What kind of gamer are you?

If you are a balanced, you can play all classes equally well.

Offensive (Kamikaze style): Ninja or a Trojan.
Support staff: Water Tao.
Defensive: Warrior.
Artillery/ Ranged: Archer or a Fire Tao.

What gender should I be? Gender plays a small roll but important one. My female Fire Taoist gets PKed less than any of my male characters.

The size of your character has a small impact towards other players. Subconsciously Most people think that the bigger players are harder to kill and do more damage. But on the other hand some players think that the bigger they are the harder they fall. The same thing can be said about some players. Dynamite comes in small packages.

What is your agenda? What do you hope to accomplish in the game. Quick rebirth, easy dragon balls, Market/Mining dummies etc (the Market/Mining dummies are a type of account that TQ does not like to have on their servers. Be forewarned the account can end up in bot jail or worse be deleted.)

How fast do you want to level up? Power leveling is great if you can find an archer. But that is not always the case. If you have to level yourself up I would choose a Ninja or an Archer. How much silver do you expect to have and save? Archers and Taoists have a constant upkeep cost, due to the archer's arrows and the Taoists Magic. How much money do you plan to invest in your character? Some people buy their way up through Conquer points. This is not a bad idea if you got extra money to burn.

Do you plan to do a lot of player versus player? Player versus player is a good way to level up, but is also a good way to make a lot of enemies. Water Taoist's are not the most ideal for this kind of playing.

Weapon choices: What kind of weapons do you like to use? Some weapons in the game are class specific while other weapons have specific requirements. The class specific weapons are:

Backsword – Taoist
Katana – Ninja
Shield – Warrior
2 weapons at once – Trojan and Ninja
Bow – Archer

Below you will find the stats for the characters at the beginning of the game once they enter Twin city:

1. Warrior, Level 3, Strength 8, Vitality 5, Agility 3 spirit 0. Items and armor Coat level 1, Lucky blade level 1, long hammer level 5, 3 Stanchers and 600 silver. Halt is earned for a special ability.

4. Water / Fire Taoist, Level 3, Strength 0, Vitality 5, Agility 3 spirit 8. Items and armor Coat level 1, Lucky backsword level 1, 3 Agrypnotic, 3 Stanchers and 600 silver.
