There are many ways to earn money within the world of Conquer Online and in this article I am going to explore just one of those ways. Some people call it hunting, others call it farming and some don't even have a name for it, but whatever you call it, it all means the same thing; the killing of monsters in order to obtain money and valuable equipment that can be sold on.

So now we know what it means let us get on to some tactics. First of all, it is good to decide on the location you are going to hunt; you need somewhere with a high density of monsters that you can kill in one hit and preferably somewhere that is near to a town or city. If you are an archer, finding an area with a lot of monsters in a small amount of space is fantastic, thanks to scatter. Throughout my time in Conquer I have found a number of good locations, but for now I will just tell you two of them.

The first is a very common hunting ground that has been exploited time and time again throughout the existence of Conquer, but for good reason. Mini Macaques (Mini Macs for short) are located on the second map of Love Canyon and are very densely packed, weak and have some of the best drop rates in the game. While they're good to hunt at, there is often fierce competition between archers which can make your job quite difficult, especially if you are quite low level like myself.

The favourite location of mine that I have found though has to be Vultures. They are located at the bottom of the same map that Ape City is on, just south of the city itself. They are densely packed and very weak. What's more, there is little competition in comparison to Mini Macs. Another advantage is that it is very close to a city, so you can run back to storage and it will only take a minute or two.

Ok, so now we've found our location, let us get to killing. The best tactic is to use an archer and scatter into large groups of Vultures. If you don't have an archer it doesn't matter, as any mid to high level character can kill these with no problems, it's just quicker as an archer. Pick up any pieces of equipment that drop and also any gold or sycee that you see lying around on the floor. If you are getting low on health then you can pick up the medicines as well. When you have a full inventory return to Ape City and sell all equipment that is 'normal' to an NPC and sticks anything else in your warehouse. This method can get you around 100,000 gold per hour just from gold drops and from selling your unwanted equipment to NPC's. An effective money making strategy in the case of hunting is to have a 'market character' available at the same time, who sits in the market and sells any 'special' gear you accumulate. You can get a lot of valuable equipment and meteors through this method, and with a bit of hard work you could soon become a millionaire!
