After composing more than 1600 times on each of my pets, I learned (through trials and mistakes) many tips and techniques regarding pet composing. This guide will save you time and gold/TPs on the smart way to compose your pets. Before I start, let me review some of the basics of pet composition.

There are 6 different types of composing: Major Evolve (Main Compose), Subsidiary Evolve (Sub Compose), Initial Evolve (Ini Compose), Luck Evolve, Luck Compose, and ID Evolve.

Main Compose: Compose your pet with the same kind of pet such as a maiden mazu (Main) with a maiden mazu (Minor) to increase the star mark of the Main pet. You can also use a universal pet which is either a Water Droplette or a Water Elf as a Minor to compose with any type of main pet. The amount of points your Main pet gained varies, usually depending on the star mark of your pet. The lower the star mark you pet is (such as 10*), your pet gain more point than a higher star market pet (such as 30*). Thus, as your main pet continues to grow, the points you gain from each compose decreases. There are also requirements for the minor pet when your Main pet reaches higher star marks. The four requirements are: level, mark, loyalty, and breed.

Level: The Minor pet level requirement starts with level 20 and goes up to level 80. As your main pet reaches higher star, it usually requires the minor pet to be level 80.

Mark: The minor pet mark requirement starts with none, then to silver/superior, then to 280 star mark (which is 2 stars and 80 points), 480 star mark, 600 star mark (which is 6*), 800, 1200, 1500, 1800, 2100, and up.

Loyalty: The minor pet mark requirement starts with 0 loyalty all the way to full loyalty which is 150.

Breed: When you open your pet interface, you should able to see on the left side of your pet's picture to see the breed: earth, water, air, fire, and thunder. The minor pet breed requirement starts with no requirement until your main pet reaches higher star (usually around 30* and above), it will require the same race. For example, if your main pet is fire, it will require the minor pet to be fire in order to compose. One exception is if your main pet is thunder race, then it can be compose with any other races. There are two ways in which your main pet can turn to thunder race. First, by evolving your pet every time you compose your pet. When your main pet reaches level 20 or 40, evolve it and if you are lucky enough, your main pet will become thunder race. Second, giving your main pet a thunder juice will turn your pet into thunder race as well.

Helpful tips: Players tend to think that thunder race is so cool, so when they start off the game, they will seek a thunder race pet to race. However, it is not wise (my opinion) to raise a thunder pet in the first start (when it's low star mark). It is because if your main pet becomes thunder race through evolve or thunder juice, it will gain 1 star or 100 star mark automatically (regardless of what star mark your pet is)! For instance, if your main pet is at 11* and you evolve it and lucky enough it turns thunder race, your pet will be instantly become 12* as well! Therefore, wait till your pet requires race requirement when it's around 30*, then hopefully it will evolve to thunder, or you can give a thunder juice to turn your main pet to thunder race and it will be 31* right away! It will save you so much TPs or composes when your main pet is at higher star. I remembered I gave one of my Adi a thunder juice when it's at 38* so it turned 39* instantly (would've taken me around 25 composes to reach one whole star).

To use thunder juice, you need to first compose your pet so it turns back to level 1, then right click on the thunder juice and left click on the pet that you want to turn it thunder. If you have god blessing, you have to do it fast before your main pet gain level through god blessing, then you have to compose your pet again back to level 1!
