Today we have Matthew Stroud with us and he plays Vayzo on the hit show "PsychoBob and the Celestial Collar".
(Matthew walks from behind the curtain waves to the crowd walks up to the desk shakes Bob's hand and takes a seat.)
PsychoBob: How are you?
Matthew Stroud: I am fine thx.
PsychoBob: Hey I heard a weird story about how you got the part of Vayzo, would you care to share it with us.
Matthew: (laughing) Yea, no problem (laughing), I do not mind. Well it was like this I use to do adult movies.
The crowd gasps
PsychoBob: Adult movies?
The crowd laughs
Matthew: Yes, movies that is primarily for adults. So the night before my agent, yes those type of actors can also have agents, gives me an address. Well when I wrote the address down I had mistakenly wrote down avenue and I was suppose to write down street.
PsychoBob: So basically you went to the wrong address?
Matthew: So when I get there, there is nothing at that particular building. But down the block there is a line. So I figured I wrote down the wrong number to the building, so I get on line. Well you know how competitive actors can be. So no know talks to me (Laughing) and I am on line and I say to a couple of the women how I would love to work with them.
PsychoBob: Because you think this is an adult movie?
Matthew: Correct. So anyway I get to the room where the interviews are being held and the first thing I do is drop my pants.
The crowd laughs
Matthew: And right then is when I understood I was no longer in Kansas.
The crowd laughs
Matthew: But the thing about it is no one turned their heads. They just kept looking forward right at me and some guy walks over to me hands me a script. So with my pants still down I deliver the lines they loved me and I got the job on the spot.
PsychoBob: Wow that is something… I also hear you are engaged?
Matthew: Yes I am engaged to a producer on the show.
The crowd claps and hoots and hollers.
