[EO]Bottled and Corked with a Hint of Eudemons Chapter 2
Chapter 1
Two figures were sitting on horses looking into the valley below them. Crested within the valley, the city burned, engulfed by an inferno of torrential heat and magnitude, like a bonfire on the summer's night that had somehow gone beyond the boundaries of normality and somewhat extended its circumference to incorporate the whole town.

"Didn't quite expect it to have that effect did you?" the smaller of the two asked, hence from now on will be called Small.
"I would say that it was within my calculations, but unlike the evil masterminds out there, I prefer to leave things to chance." This came from the taller of the pair who will be known as Tall.
The onlookers looked on. They could see in the valley just a few people running around like ants having had their nest attacked, although with the organization of a committee. The result was that no matter how much effort they put in, the pour guidance from the officials always redirected the peasants to the least important parts of town (the mayors home for example, which hadn't even been scratched or touched by the fire had half the towns' population on guard with buckets of water around it).
"Still, it's a shame that we had to go and do this," Small asked Tall, while gently rubbing the head of the horse.
"At the end of the day, we are just evil and the world has to know that we mean business. And if that means we burn the occasional or not so occasional town to ashes then so be it." Tall replied, while looking down at Small.
