[ZO]Gaining Potency after Level 170 Part A

Alright, you've reached level 170 on (hopefully all your units), and now you're wondering: What in the world do I do now? You've already completed all the missions that gave you your equipment along the way to level 170, and you've probably began to work on your C.A.P. However, the one question that comes up the most when players are trying to gain potency is: What's the cheapest way I can gain potency, while not spending too much time on it? Should I invest in ultras before leveling up? Or should I work on my C.A.P? Or just work on my potency modules? Well, you're in luck, because this guide will give you tips, based on my personal experiences and the experiences of others, on how to gain potency in the most efficient way.
Part A: Levels 170 -180
1: Collecting elite equipment for all your units
This might come as a surprise to some of you, but actually, collecting elites is a very cheap and fast process. From your journey to level 170, you most likely have collected quite a few elite gears, or items you have sold for Zero Points, and with those Zero Points (I'll refer to these as "ZPs" from now on), it would be relatively easy to find elites in the market, with weapons going as cheaply as 1 ZP, outer gears as cheap as 5 ZPs, and inner gears as cheap as 8 ZPs. Each one of these elites replacing your old unique gears will give you 3 potency each, 6 if it's a 2 handed weapons.
Didn't collect many ZPs on your journey to 170, or just out of luck? No problem! If you're in a fleet with others, you can ask around, and people will be more than happy to give you their elites that have been taking up warehouse space for months. Not in a fleet? Mobs after level 170 will easily drop elite gears, and those unidentified items that you've been accumulating might just turn out to be elite gears.
Still having trouble finding elite gears? Don't worry, once you put your heart to going to hunt monsters for gears, not only will you get your gears faster, you will also start to gain levels fast (which is the next part of this list).
Estimated cost/time for 1 potency: 0-1 ZP/less than an hour
