[EO]A Source of Power Keeps You Going

Have you guys ever wonder about what was it that makes you want to play EO every other day till now? Many people complaint how hard it is to start this game, many have chosen the easy way out as to quit and leave the game for good. But what was it that you have stayed on for? What was it that makes you so eager to log on each time when you are at school, or at work? Was it simply just an addiction to gaming? Or was it more than just an addiction?
I have played many MMORPGs way before EO. There are many different kinds of game play, where you will come across some easy ones, difficult ones, boring ones and interesting ones. Regardless of these, the thing that I have learnt to recognize is that the amount of time a player spent online has a direct relation to their friendships online. What makes the game a truly enjoyable one is the kind of companionship that you have as you train. Someone you can talk to, confide in and even do some random PK with.
Some made friendships that lasted for years, regardless of international borders and time zone differences. Some started dating and eventually got married. This is how far an online community like EO can take people to. All it takes is for you to chance upon one of these people, and it could change your life in a way or another. It took me a few legions to eventually find a place that truly enjoys my presence. They talk to you not because you are strong. They wished that you stayed not because they are afraid that their battle power might drop.
I am also glad that I have found a soul mate to share my ups and downs with. We are not exactly married (in-game of course), but that should be the least to worry about. She is someone whom I can share my day with, someone who cheers me up when I was down, someone who laughs at my silly jokes all the time. I yearn to meet her online everyday even as I type at this very moment.
These special bonds that were established got me going on, growing both as a player and as a person. I hope that this article could inspire more of you, and not underestimating the impact that you can make to another person's live.
Food for thought:
Friendship is a blessing. Friendship is courage. Friendship is everlasting.
It is through times of adversity, that a friendship is born.
