[EO]A Comparison of the 3 Classes

Like any MMO, Eudemons Online offers variety to suit any of their players. There is the straightforward, offensive class - a warrior; a Mage - a spellcaster with many wonderful and effective abilities, or a paladin - the only class that can fly, heal and resurrect.

Now, all three classes have their upsides and downsides. As far as game play goes, few can expect a paladin to have devastating and disarming skills such as ChainChop (which is a Warrior attack that renders an opponent unable to attack in most cases), or a mage to be able to use Resurgence (which is a Paladin skill that revives a dead player and/or all of their dead Eudemons). However, these characters balance out nicely, and may very well benefit each other in their diversity.

While it may seem that a Warrior is the easiest and therefore strongest class, they are limited by their SP, which is their physical power gauge that controls their ability to jump, use FlyingChop or ChainChop (and God forbid one runs out of SP during an intense battle). A warrior is the only class that have a choice between two weapons - a double-handed sword, or a single-handed blade. The choice will not effect the Battle Power, although one or the other may make a character appear stronger - but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

As far as PKing goes, a warrior will have the upper hand if they possess high BP and ChainChop. ChainChop, as mentioned before, will knock a player backwards and give them very little time to attack, which will be a huge benefit during a battle.

Mages are blessed with the superior skill of Thunder (which is an EXTREMELY popular PKing skill that Mage Eudemons can learn as well), however, this skill is extremely MP-(Mana Points)draining and cannot be used all the time. If a Mage Eudemon is summoned simultaneously when the spell is cast, both the player and their Eudemon will cast Thunder at the same time, which will double the power of the attack. As far as statuses go, a Mage has low (very low) physical attack and defense, but very high Magic attack and Magic defense. This can be counteracted by converging with a Pixie, which has high Physical Defense and Magic Attack, and will increase both stats. When PKing, a Mage should avoid physical attacks and use Thunder from afar, for their low physical defense may not allow them to survive long enough to finish casting a spell if they are attacked by a warrior.

Paladins are the newest (and very anticipated) class that specializes in both Warrior and Mage attacks, as well as status-affecting moves such as Falter (decreases damage taken from an opponent) and Snare (disables jumping). Paladins have the ability to fly with help from their Lancelot (a pixie), and resurrect dead pets or players. Paladins are limited by MP and Soul (a gauge exclusive to the paladin class that limits how much Status attacks/Resurrect/Resurgence can be used). However, Paladins are mostly support characters and without pets, their offensive attacks will not be as effective on single targets or on PKing. Their most powerful single-target attack, SpearRingFlare, is nowhere as powerful as a Mage's Thunder or a Warrior's ChainChop. Still, they are excellent characters to have if they have a strong Eudemon to do the PKing for them, and their status attacks can be extremely frustrating for an opponent to handle.

All in all, the three classes are a very nice mix together, creating diversity and a kind of balance unique to Eudemons Online. No matter which class we choose, no matter which attacks or Eudemons we use, the equality of the three differentiating classes is where it should be, therefore creating the perfect mix of power and strategy we've come to expect from MMOs.
