[EO]3-Socket Weapons: New Feature?

As previously highlighted, our receding economy has made it a near-impossible task for some players to PayPal. Even for the paypallers, it is getting harder and harder to buy bulk-packs, in which large amounts of Eudemon Points (herein known as EP) are obtained. As far as extra features go in gears, there are one sockets and two sockets, in which a player can embed a gem in order to improve vastly the quality of our gears and our BP. However, it is a rarity that players can achieve Double Socketed gears, much less the soon-to-be-released Triple Socket feature.
For weapons, one can obtain a single socket for three RedStones at Equipment Forging, and a second socket for ten RedStones at the same place. However, for gears (all equipment aside from weapons), the only option one has for a socket is to purchase a MoonBox for a single socket, or a SuperMoonBox for a double socket. Even with the cheaper market price (in contrast to the 2700 EPs MoonBox and 8280 EPs SuperMoonBox) for the two MoonBoxes, it is still a rare treat for the non-paypallers. Ever since the server merge on LA/LV and Toronto/Sydney, the new players have been pushed down by the combined forces of two servers' superpowers (usually PayPalling players). How is it fair that the competition must be intensified by the option of a third socket on gears?
Of course, this will push players to spend more money and perhaps (attempt to) paypal, but from a practical point of view, this can very easily frustrate players and therefore decrease the overall popularity of the game. The third-socket feature, of course, would only be open to players who have obtained the first two sockets and are thereby quite wealthy by the common definition. Those players, conveniently, will also be the ones that have the best gears, pets, legion, and BP - which will bury the below average - above average players down even further if they cannot afford to spend as much money on the luxury of a triple-socketed gears. Eventually, this will result in monopoly and could possibly have a very negative effect on the market, on Legion Wars, on Player Killing as well as the general fairness of the game.
Taking reality and financial issues into consideration, for the benefit of the common players and the average man, I strongly discourage the release of the Third Socket Feature, because this will make gameplay much more difficult and frustrating and more into a money-driven quest instead of the wonderful hobby that it was intended to be.
