[CT]Tips on Quality Upgrade

Alright upgrading the quality of your equipment has many bonuses. It gives your item a boost in its status as well as a potency bonus for your character.

Equipment Quality Types Available:

The Potency Bonus is added for each piece of equipment that you have....  

Increasing Quality

In order to increase the quality of your items you need to speak to KingFengdu "QualityUpgrade" at 570,627 coordinates in the Market.

Your item must have full durability and you need to come equipped with either a Philosopher Gem or a Super Philosopher Gem (20 Philo Gems).

If you feel lucky feel free to try normal Philo Gems but be aware that you may lose your gems and not upgrade the equipment...  Saving up for a super Philo Gem will insure your success... (I have spent 40 Philo Gems trying to upgrade an item separately and others have succeeded with only 1 Philo Gem)

Additional Information

You can receive higher quality equipments from monster drops as well as boss drops and people sell Unique, Elite, and Super Quality Items all the time... So my personal advise is only upgrade really good equipments not ordinary ones...
The most common strategy is to buy +12 socket-ed Elite equips from someone and then upgrade them to Super quality.
